l  People with diabetes have three times the normal chances of getting Alzheimer’s dementia. (Result of the search by Medical search Institute of Kyushu University, Japan)

l  3.5% of people took the memory loss check-up were diagnosed with dementia. (Result of a medical check-up of Tokushima city, Japan)

l  Florida Atlantic University Memory and Wellness Center issued <Self evaluation of driving for people with memory problem>

2. World Altzheimer Day

l  The commemorative lecture sponsored by headquarters was held at two places with the title <live happily with dementia > and <Care of dementia and mental support>

3. Steps of a day care facility in Gunma (Gunma branch)

4. Review of long –term care insurance system

l  From October, users must cover all the expenses for food and a room at facilities. This system change gives a severe damage to users and caregivers who manage to care with using short- stay services.

l  Though my husband is suffering from several diseases, he is not allowed to enter a facility because of having dementia.
